The Auditor's Office acts as bookkeeper for county business and as clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. Businesses apply to this office for beer and liquor licenses. This office schedules the appointments for Commission meetings, figures real estate and mobile home taxes, handles indigent health care, and is responsible for the primary and general elections. Information on voter registration, absentee voting or upcoming elections may be obtained from this office. The Auditor is also a Notary Public.

To view your voter registration information, polling place location and your sample ballot for primary and general elections you may try South Dakota's New Voter Information Portal. Find VIP at www.sdsos.gov in the blue section, under the American flag, last option listed.
